CS Week conference group donates $60,000 to flood relief

CS Week, an educational-conference company that held a conference in Nashville shortly after the May floods, this week turned over $30,000 each to the American Red Cross and Salvation Army here for flood relief.
The CS Week conference originally was scheduled for the Gaylord Opryland hotel, but had to be relocated to the Renaissance Hotel after the Gaylord property was closed by the flooding.

Besides holding a benefit concert for conference attendees featuring several country music stars, including Vince Gill and T.G. Sheppard, the group also raised money on its website.

Some of the money was earmarked to assist Gaylord employees affected by the flooding.
